Job Description
An Assistant Catering Manager is required for one of the most successful and forward thinking Independent Schools in the North West of England.
With a team of 50 staff, Bolton School Catering Department has a number of key functions which include; providing over 2,300 school meals per day over five units within the campus, catering for a sixth-form tuck shop, early morning Breakfast Club and breakfast at morning break, catering for social and corporate functions ranging from fine-dining to banquets for 180 and catering for external events such as weddings and themed evenings.
The Assistant Catering Manager will be responsible for managing and training staff, managing budgets, menu planning and health and safety.
The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role, excellent communication skills, be financially and commercially aware, flexible, creative and innovative with the ability to manage and adapt positively to cultural and organisational change.
The salary for this position is between £20,198 and £22, 958 annum plus an attractive benefits package.
